Probably just re-issues of Twelve Inch Singles and Side Trax. Though I wonder if they bought more than they admitted so far, it would be nice if some of this stuff came out finally. Honestly I’m kind of surprised Metropolis didn’t do this yet…
There’s a certain clique of ‘minimal synth’ and ‘minimal wave’ enthusiasts who, having picked clean everything they can from the 1980s, have even released some very dubious “forgotten classics” that were simply new recordings made to cosmetically appear like old and undiscovered ones. So there is a market among those people, who would certainly dig into the “I’m Falling” or “Same old Madness” style of grooves if not everything else.
A lot of DJs on the techno circuit are also becoming more bold about betraying their new wave roots, and not playing purely state-of-the-art techno sets, that’s another market that I’m sure would gladly throw down for properly done issues of 1980-1986-ish material.

Dang. That’s a pretty cool looking comp. Death in June, Nightmares on Wax, Damned, Ministry . . .
Yeah - mostly these things end up on cheap-o CD-r compilations, so this is a nice change o’ pace.
They should have thrown in a bonus video disc just to get the Ministry video some more exposure. I’m captivated by the imagery of a young Al Jourgensen ruling his merry-go-round with an iron fist…
I’ve come close to buying that record on a few occasions, mainly so I can have ‘Same Old Madness’ on a physical format. I have a feeling Cleo is going to release it, or at least I’m hoping.
