This sucks…
He hasn’t done anything in 10 years and had become something of a recluse. About 6 months or so ago (actually, I think right around when I discovered how good Eerie Von’s solo stuff is) I was at a page that was talking about how they were trying to get in touch with him but no dice.
I don’t think anyone knew he was sick… damn shame.

I always liked his name “chuck biscuits… Get it? Chuck …Biscuits! Vomit noises”

Well apparently this whole thing was some sort of weird hoax. [:/] Now I have no idea what is going on as it was reported all over the net.

Apparently people who are close to Chuck have confirmed that he is indeed alive, and does not have cancer. If so then I am just glad that it is false, but I hope whoever made this shit up their arms swell and fall off. Maybe because Chuck has been a recluse for the past decade he was easy pickings for some sick joke.

This reminds me of when Howard Hughes had to make a phone call to reporters to debunk that fake Clifford Irving biography.

Brilliant drummer.

Just about blew my head off when I saw him play during the How The Gods Kill tour.

And if he’s only 44, then the guy must’ve been, like, 15 when he was in Black Flag and DOA.

That’s amazing.

Probably the best drummer I have ever seen live next to Dale Crover (Melvins).

These hoax’s can be bothersome alright. I remember the Pete Steele one a few years ago. What was it, the other guys in the band put up a message on the T.O.N. website that he finally died, then Pete’s family came across it and were traumatised by it or something. If the person does the hoax him/herself its sort of like “Ah fuck ya, ya prick!” but if someone else does on them it’s really unfair.
