Chris Connelly vs. Angie J

Connelly’s been posting letters from an angry screed by the former Mrs. Jourgensen on his Facebook lately (he doesn’t come right out and say that’s who it’s from, but it’s strongly implied).

Entertaining stuff.

Where are they? I have no facebook and so i dont know how to use facebook. But when i follow the link it just takes me to his page with a bunch of pics on it. I cant find the crazy letters

I can’t find them either…

I haven’t seen these letters (I’m not friends with Chris - go figure). But I am thinking it might be about Al’s new woman. Liz something. She’s been raising quite a lot of controversy on the FB groups I’m in. She’s apparently really paranoid and possessive and kind of terrorizing any of his exes or any girls bold enough to be around him. It’s pretty funny stuff.

No, they are excerpts from an older letter. About residuals probably. He’s been posting portions of it, and it is quite hilarious to READ her RANTS. (She has a thing for capitalizing for emphasis)

It’s your standard issue “our attorneys will destroy you” stuff, peppered with very high school-like assertions that “you’re Asshole #3 on our shit list now, buddy”.

Pretty entertaining. If I get some time later, I’ll pull them down and repost them here.

Haha! Sounds excellent!

Not being on Facebook either, I’d love to see screenshots etc. of the squabblings. I eat this kind of stuff up like Doritos sprinkled with [insert highly addictive narcotic of your choice here].

All that aside, I suppose it’s kind of touching that Al still attracts women who bare their claws in his defense. The guy looks like a total mess, can’t be in good financial shape, and of course his physical health also seems like a big question mark. Yet I guess some are still capable of seeing past all that and, who knows, genuinely loving the old buzzard.

Reminds me a bit of that self-congratulating* bio-pic that was done on the band Pentagram; their singer was living in his parents’ sub-basement looking like a skeleton and suffering from awful crack-fueled delusions, and yet still managed to find romantic bliss based on his previous incarnation is a psychedelic / doom rock god.

  • (mainly on behalf of the film-maker, who takes up way too much time congratulating himself for re-discovering the band and getting them back on stage.)

Yeah, how was that movie anyway? I never watched it but it sounded semi-interesting. It had some high brow name like “Today’s Tomorrows Long Past” or something as I recall.

And yeah, I guess it was basically some fanboy that took it upon himself to celebrate and save the guy to inspire him for his triumphant return.

Hahaha you are talking about Last Days Here…yeah Bobby Liebling was a mess…my friend knows that filmmaker pretty well and says he is a real cool dude…I agree he was a bit overboard with the self-congratulatory pats on the back…but from what I hear he is a sincere guy who really had Bobby’s best interest’s at heart…and ultimately Bobby got his shit together and had a child and put out a new Pentagram album and actually showed up to a bunch of shows…so all’s well that ends well ,I guess…

Yeah, I knew he was back up and rolling again but didn’t know how any of it all came together. Pentagram is a great band (and Bobby’s voice is really cool) regardless and from the pieces I’ve heard that new album is solid too (cool artwork on it too).

Yes, it is kind of inspiring in the end. Thinking “well, if THAT guy who has relentlessly sabotaged his career and fucked his life six ways from Sunday can still snatch a happy ending out of all that…what am I doing here whining about treatable medical problems and under-employment.”

Good that the guy who made the movie was indeed sincere about it, too.

Anyway, back to the lecture at hand…

I would suggest checking out the doc,Gunnar…I think you would dig it…I found it fascinating(albeit depressing at times)…some funny parts also…I would recommend it…

It was a good doc. I recommend.

Here’s the first one he posted, with the remark:

Going through a drawer of old paperwork I found a 3 page pulitzer-prize winning Manuscript from the (ex?) wife of a certain musician I used to be involved with: pretty good read, and she is so disappointed in me. Waaaah!

here is another excerpt from the gothic Pam Ewing, I am loving this trip down memory lane

this is from a coke fuelled industrial rock fortune cookie someone gave me

dreams coming true…

of course!! got it! no wonder!!!

What was her point? Chris somehow stole money from Al? She always seemed like a low-class, starfucker. Al is such a fool. He lets her burn all these bridges then she leaves him and probably takes all the money. That is powerful stupid.

That last one is especially damning.

Of course it’s Chris’ fault Al used drugs!
