Calling All Thrashers

And Foreclosure Of A Dream is brilliant.

I absolutely adore Foreclosure Of A Dream! Symphony of destruction was played over and over again but not sweating bullets (but still I think it’s more of a novelty track rather than a serious song). So I’d much rather take Sweating Bullets over Symphony. Countdown is the next decent track on there but other than that my list ends there. I agree Forclosure is certainly the standout track! I think your black album comparisons are spot on though!

Megadeth are sissy boys.

It’s all about KREATOR!!!

They are great live but their albums are ridiculously devoid of bass… When will thrash bands learn that bass actually makes music heavier?

Sodom is the shit though. Persecution Mania and Agent Orange are some of the best examples of ‘less is more’ music I can think of.

listening to Megadeth right now, first two songs, feeling… so far so good…

Given it a few listens now and it’s good. Fast, solos all over the place. Drums fast and crazy. This day we fight and bite the hand big standouts. Songs sound like new megadeth but more polished…chris and shawn kick some major ass.

I am LOVING this. MAD riffage and solos everywhere! It does have moments where it sounds like new Megadeth but it has a lot of the old thrash elements that they used to use, which I find awesome. Super fast in places but got a lot of great groove/rythem spots to wind through. Polished and clean yet not “studio as hell”.

So far I’m digging on :

  • This Day We Fight!
  • Bodies
  • Endgame
  • Head Crusher
  • How The Story Ends

Without fail the best thing they’ve done since r.i.p IMO. And that’s only my first spin opinion. LOL
