Anybody watch the Talking Dead?
Manson was on this show tonight and he was a complete and total MORON! Chris Hardwick was noticeably annoyed with him (as well the peeps on the couch) and clowned him openly to his face several times. (“Why not throw banana peels at the walkers so they slip? or pies in the face, Marilyn?”) He was slow and incoherent and would talk over people with his stupid babble.
How does anyone take this guy seriously anymore? fans and colleagues?

I never bother with these things then saw in the bumper ad he was a featured guest and wanted to tune in for the potential trainwreck. Figured he could muster decent discussion on what’s an easily digestible TV program. I figured wrong. When he wasn’t being shut down by the host he was bringing up irrelevant plotlines (Shane?!) and being sheepish. Jack Osborne and G.A. Hurd looked embarrassed to share the same couch.
Since i’m a non-US resident, as all the wonderful competitions in can’t enter would describe me, can you tel me any more of what happened? Do you think he was drugged up or drunk? The guy really does have major problems, he went from being one of my heroes in music to being a fat, washed up joke, whose music i wouldn’t wipe my arse with.
this is all so weird. now granted, i get most of my manson info from you guys. but he used to be very cever and clear headed i thought.

Really, its all what nick f and i already wrote. The host and the people on the couch with him looked extremely embarassed and uncomfortable. At one point the question was asked who is feeding the rats to the zombies (or maybe manson himself brought it up) and manson suggests its carols daughter even though that girl died before they even made it to hershals farm. I dont think he was drunk or high i just think he was a dullard. Hell, maybe he has what his mother had, which would be tragic but until thats diagnosed hes a moron.

Haven’t seen this yet. Comments I read led me to believe he was maybe drunk/high but now I’m not sure. I’ll have to check it out.
I think it’s weird people are into this show on a really intense level it seems. I don’t know much about it.
I should refrain from commenting more until I see it, but it saddens me that he continues to erase the public consensus of him as an intelligent guy (which he is) with his current hot mess clown behavior.

Yeah, he used to be so intelligent, and even people who disliked him saw his interviews and at least came away with a grudging respect for him, but now he is a total embarrassment. Very sad, that should be a lesson to us all, don’t get into booze, coke and self-worship, you will end up like poor old Manson, who pissed his career away over the course of a few years.

I agree. I hate when people refer to Josh Saviano as Brian Warner. They should only refer to him as his proper name . . . PAUL PFEIFFER!!!

This show is very silly to me. I’m glad I don’t waste hours of my life watching a zombie show, on top of that even more glad I don’t then waste more hours watching a show talking about the zombie show…
Anyway back to MM, it’s always awkward watching him in this state on these stupid shows. He appears braindead…his tangents make sense if you can follow them, but who really cares to when everything must be condensed into coherent soundbytes?
The worst for me though is his need to be the creepy Uncle. To always turn everything into a dirty joke. Sometimes he scores with the moronic studio audience and sometimes it’s even sort of clever, but usually the jokes are awkward at best, downright offensive at worst.
His misogyny really came through in some of his comments about the girl. He’s really just incompatible with normal people in civilized discussions at this point.
Was awkward as well when he tried to joke about Jack Osbourne’s genital warts. Then puts his arm around him in this awkward show of forced “camaraderie”.
Saddest thing is he’s smarter than all of those people, with the possible exception of that woman who seemed quite bright, but he comes off like either a moron or a drug addled drunk—which is really the case.
I hope he will sober up before his brain is not worth saving anymore…
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh… he’s not smarter than Chris Hardwick. That dude is SMART, and he has a media empire that he built from the ground up in the same time it took Manson to wreck his career to prove it. But yeah, the Talking Dead show is stupid fluff. Walking Dead is good, haven’t seen any of the new season yet, but the important thing to get about that show is just because it has zombies, doesn’t mean it’s ABOUT zombies. But, whatever. It’s a fun show that has already been talked to death and I am not going to waste time talking about it more.

Yeah, discussion of plot points, character development, and behind the scenes special effects would probably take you hours to understand. Not really the fault of the show, though.
