being a bowie fan to begin with i’ll probably give this book a look. the amazon page lists some of the contributers that the author interviewed for the book personally and seeing some of the names (ex-wife Angie Bowie, former Bowie manager Kenneth Pitt, Siouxsie Sioux, Camille Paglia, Dick Cavett, Todd Haynes, Ricky Gervais and Peter Frampton) at least it won’t be one of those god awful bios that are just cut and paste from print interview jobs w/ rambling of some wanna be failed music critic in between :cough dave thompson cough:

and speaking of bowie there’s a rumor I hear he’s playing yankee stadium on new years eve w/a bunch of artists… but ya know, internet and it’s silly rumors.

I wonder if those witches ever got to his semen. Sounds like an interesting book, thanks. It’s been a Bowie kind of week for me - Major Tom was piped into Cardinals Stadim as the intro music to U2’s concert last Tuesday, then we listened to about an hour of Bowie at the Rhythm Room before Adrian Belew came onstage on Thursday, and now my band is rehearsing “I’m Deranged” for our Halloween concert this weekend. Lots o’ Bowie lately.
