Blood, Sweat, & Vinyl doc.

I think there was a thread about this music doc. already somewhere but couldn’t find it through the prongs search engine. Apologies to whoever did start it for this repeat.

What I wanted to ask was if anyone near Oakland, CA was going to the DVD release party? There’s also a screening in Tucson tomorrow.

Anyways this film looks great, really interesting. It even features everyone’s favourite shoegazer, His Holiness Broadrick.

The film can be watched on youtube now:

Nice one…will have to check that at some stage when I get the chance.

hell yeah , thanks for this…definitely scoping this out.

Watched it last night. Very enjoyable. It’s split into three sections - Hydra Head records, Neurot records, and Constellation records. The first two parts are great and the guys they interview (except the record store nerds) are dead on (especially Isis and Neurosis front guys). It lags a bit with the Constellation people. It seemed much longer than it was as well (90mins) for some reason. But some nice live footage of Isis, jesu, Neurosis, Cave In, GY!BE, and many others.

Long live Hydra Head and Neurot!
