Blackouts

I recently got my hands on the album “History In Reverse”, which seems to be a Blackouts compilation. Some of the music is quite interesting. Can anyone give me some more information about this band - what was Barker’s role in composing the songs etc.

The Blackouts are one of my favorite bands. The original lineup was Eric Werner on vocals and guitar, Mike Davidson on bass, Bill Rieflin on drums, and Roland Barker on keyboards/sax. The tracks on the cd are in reverse chonological order, so the first few (all the tracks before Young Man) are with this lineup. Eventually, Mike Davidson left and was replaced by Paul Barker.

my favorite song on that cd is make no mistake. i’m not sure why…just really catchy i guess. tight band throughout the disc though!! (which isn’t surprising)

Those are all remastered tracks on the album.

That’s also one of my fav. Blackouts tracks (Make No Mistake).
