It’s virtue signaling to ask if someone knows of black people in a particular art/music scene? The topic sounded anything but virtue signaling to me. Sure, the curiosity was likely prompted by the obvious recent events, but just because someone thinks of something and cares to look into it and ask about it doesn’t mean they’re riding some white horse or something.
