anybody use this?

Looking at the history seems pretty sketchy but it’s apparently caught on with quite a few e-businesses accepting it.

The question I have though is they keep talking about exchange rates. (From Wiki: “bitcoin exchange rate dropped from $266 to $76 before returning to $160 within six hours”) how do you exchange your bitcoins for real money? You can’t go into a bank and say hey give me $300 for these 2 bitcoins, or similarly ask them to deposit a twenty dollar bill and a bitcoin.

A friend told me about this.

I looked into it… apparently it’s used a lot by drug dealers, kiddie porn traders, etc etc, tons of other shady shit.

I like the concept, but it seems like fertile ground for that sort of abuse.
