Best of the Bush Trilogy?

I’d rate ‘Houses of the Mole’ as best. As others said, it was diverse and had some really good songs (“WTV”, “Wrong”, “Worm”. “World” “No W”). Plus the programming is good and Max Brody was still around for that album. The songs I don’t like are only ruined for me by the lyrics (“Warp City”). This album seemed like he put a lot of effort into it and I like the W concept and the hidden tracks stuff.

‘Rio Grande Blood’ was awesome at first because it was so fast and heavy, but with repeated listens it just feels generic. The riffs and vocals are corny and cliche. This was the moment where the George W Bush obsession really became too much. I think I like “Khyber Pass” and maybe a few others but I don’t really remember. I sold the album a year ago…

‘The Last Sucker’ never even bought it. I think I heard one track on myspace and at that point was completely alienated/disinterested…

Actually like Warp City a good deal. If I had to throw away anything off HOTM, it’d be Waiting, Wrong, Worthless and WKYJ. And like you said aout when RGB when it first came out. I thought it was awesome, and I spinned the hell out of it. But it got old awfully fast, and eventually I only really skip through it. The first half is certainly better than the second. And by the time I was getting “tired” of the bush stuff, Last Sucker comes around, and by that time, it was just “whatever”.

Personally, though, I wouldn’t leave HOTM as it is, and if you took RGB and TLS, and made one cohesive album out of it, you might end up with something good. But they do have their differences, notably the guitar sounds.

Sweet chili and sour cream pita bread snacks!!

I could eat these things til my head fell off. I really could.

Huh?

Oh yeah…and fuck the ‘Bush Trilogy’. Load of pig’s bollocks all three of them.

Grainwaves? [laugh] Havn’t tried them yet, are they crunchy or more soft and stale style?

I listen to RGB the most. Not saying its the best, but its pretty catchy and fast.

When i’m in the mood for some thrash, i’ll refer to RGB and TLS, along with the other “metal” in my collection. I usually listen to ministry though.

I used to LOOOOVE Houses when it first came out. Then not too long after picking up both Animositisomina and DSOTS, I fucking HATED it. Now, I think it’s evenly divided between really fucking class and nothing special.

RGB… I gotta be in the right mood for that one.

Still haven’t listened to much off of TLS, the remix discs, or the live album. Not that I care about those last three. Cover Up was… yeah.

If I were to make a “Best Of” collection of everything '04-09…

Under My Thumb

Well, that’s not a very extensive mix, now is it.

Under My Thumb?
Really?
If you have to choose one of the new tracks from Cover Up, why not Bang A Gong, which at least has Josh on vocals.

My guess would be because he likes Under My Thumb better than Bang A Gong…I could be wrong though?

Nah, it was either that or “Just Got Paid,” but seeing as how I like Ministry’s version of “Under My Thumb” better than the Stones’, that gets the vote.
