Been wondering this for years…what is that sped up sound at the beginning of Thieves?

I meant the very first thing you hear…not the drill (which is, i believe R2D2, not a drill.)…i’m assuming a sped up guitar, as it sounds like two chords…?

I worked in the accounts payable department at uni in 1993. Our batch check printer sounded like what catgoat is referencing.
