Be sure to take some selfies in your fetish wear, Eureka.
Folsom St last year is about as close as I wanna get to the freaky side of things and I mainly went for TKK anyways. I also had my cute friend with me who to keep me company, but getting asked by 3 different men if I’m into water sports is enough for me to not wanna go back.
The scheduling for this is really unfortunate, Front 242 and Youth Code are playing in SF on the same night at a different venue.
Yeah, but do they offer a fetish wear discount?
I, for one, am sick of squeezing into my ass-less leather chaps and not getting the respect I deserve for doing so.
So frankly I will have to go to the RevCo event, where I’m sure my unique fashion sensibilities will be understood and respected.
Plus I will avoid any Youth Code performance for the fear they’ll play that one grating ‘manifesto’-style track they did, which is the most obnoxiously scolding piece of industrial music I’ve heard since Consolidated were kicking around.

“Yeah, Dude! I love watersports! I’ve done a bit of water-skiing and I just got a SEA-DOO. I’m thinking about going out this weekend to do some Boogie-boarding. Hit me up, we’ll go catch some waves, Bro!!!”

Don’t forget to rock the BODY GLOVE suit as if you’re Corey Glover in the video for Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality”
Its a shame its on the same night as f242. And coldwaves.
I guess I could go after front 242.
Though I really wish they would’ve had it the night before or after, or a different weekend all together. It should be fun. I like Jello’s d.j sets. And AL is always interesting to be around.
Is SF Eagle a gay bar?
I ask because of the picture (which may just be intended as irony) and the fact that in Atlanta The Eagle is a notorious homosexual hangout.
Yes, my friend from SF tells me it’s a “popular leather daddy bar”.
In SF even the bars that are not specifically gay bars are pretty gay. And considering the ad for this particular evening is offering $5 discount for coming in full leathers . . . . yeah, I suspect there might be a few gay people there.
I regret not going for the dj set. Did anyone here go? How much did I miss aside from Jello in his bondage gear?
I remembered why I didn’t stay for 242 at last years coldwaves :
I like them on record and that Catch the men Dvd, but don’t feel compeletely the same as to their live performances.
But really, I WISH I WOULDVE GONE TO CHICAGO FOR THIS YEARS COLDWAVES…
My wife and I dropped in after the 242 show and it was pretty dead at that point. Only jello spinning his vinyl while wearing the aforementioned bondage gear.
