barker

i’m sure this topic has come up before, but I can’t find any reference to it. what has happened to Paul? is he working on a solo project now?

not sure what he is doing but he was sighted at a death in june show in texas recently…good taste in music!

Yay! Another Barker thread! (Not being sarcastic.) I would definitely like to find out more about what the hell he’s been up to. How does Death In June sound like?

hello orbasm, death in june is this so called post-industrial folk music. i have heard it called evil camp fire music and i agree with that statement, lots of ignoramuses are quick to label these fellows as nazi skinhead 88’ers but these detractors obviously have never heard the music/read the lyrics. if you get some i recommend brown book or but what ends when the symbols shatter.

The album they did with boyd rice “alarm agents” is really good and worth checking out…I also have there “all pigs must die” album. Don’t know much about them but I like them quite a bit.

Post-industrial folk music, eh? Tom Waits comes to mind, is that fair to think?

He’s working on a project with Paul Leary of the Butthole Surfers, supposedly.

There was supposed to be a second Pink Anvil record release, but due to Ipecac’s unlikely future as a business, who knows what might happen. It’s been finished for a long time, that album.
