Flaming Lips (they seemed to be everywhere until I realised how much I liked them)
Ministry (the earlier the better, I had tickets to RGB tour, and they canceled, probably not a big loss, but still…)
Bongzilla
Skinny Puppy (and heaps of US bands that will never come here)
Ufomammut
Kyuss
Monster Magnet (90’s)
The Doors (and so much classic stuff that died before I was born, but that would be a long list)
Saxon
I saw them in the '90s, with Fear Factory and Rob Zombie. One of the worst shows I’ve ever seen (just the Monster Magnet part).[/reply]
What year was this? What made the show so bad? Also, are you a fan of their recorded output? I am intrigued, because I honestly can’t imagine them being any worse than Rob Zombie or Fear Factory.
Late '90s?
Fear factory put on a great show if you like Fear Factory. Rob Zombie did a fantastic Alice Cooperesque extravaganza. I can’t imagine not being impressed by the spectacle at the very least.
Monster Magnet played about two songs - one of which was roughly 20 minutes long. The dude had on a leather vest and no shirt and a fan below him so that his hair would feather out. The whole thing was rambling, incoherent, and drunk/stoned sloppy.
kool thread, well considering I’m 21 n a lot of my favs date back to when my father was pre-teenage(lol i wasn’t EVEN sperm), i can’t kick myself for missing those but as far as the “this day and age” goes I’m a little resentful I’ve never seen…
SLIPKNOT
STATIC-X
SLAYER (went to go C em about 4 yrs ago wit my uncle n cuz n they were sold out! hopped on over to summerfest n what took the place of SLAYER/LOG? why STYX of course!)
PANTERA (sure I was only 8 at Trendkill era but I shoulda cought em’ when I was 12 at ozzfest '00 or whenabouts)
Mudvayne
NIN (it figures I would start getting into an act this awesome almost a year after there “farewell for several yrs” tour)
Mushroomhead (back in the day wit J Mann. I really CANT STAND that waylon ass-hat n it’s got nothing too do with him being the new guy, just talk about cliche, derivitive off early 2000s “I’m so intense i might shit myself” vocals, damn.)
a couple acts I HAVE seen…
RUSH (Vapor trails tour '02, my dad n uncle dragged me along, at the time I was still about a yr away from discovering my love of 60’s/70’s tune-age)
APC
TOOL (was so worried they wouldn’t live up too what they were in my head, I left so not dissapointed! I actually wish I HADN’T been on drugs I would probably have more of a tangible memory of it)
LAMB OF GOD
RHCP (it was allright but not as good as i would imagine they were like Bloodsugarsex days)
KoЯn
GWAR (still not a true fan of the music, but that ain’t really what they’re about anyway it was a kickass show!)
WHITECHAPEL/CANNIBAL CORPSE

Haha I caught Pantera on that ozzfest. Kickass show.
I can sympathize on Static-X. They were at that same ozzfest and I was preoccupied watching Kittie and Soulfly.
I can tell you that Slipknot sucks asshole. Saw at ozzfest '05 and I was more entertained by watching the nazis in the pit.
Mudvayne was a good one last tme. They were at ozzfest '05 and sucked but then I caught em a few months later co-headlining with Korn and they were awesome
And I think I only wouldve wanted to see Mushroomhead during the XX era

Iggy Pop
Have seen: FLA, SP (2x), NIN (7x), Bauhaus, Jane’s Addiction, M. Manson, GWAR (4x), Laibach, STP, RHCP, and Slayer
I saw Slipknot at the BDO and SOAD just after, System whooped their arse, but for Slipknot they weren’t terrible.
Recently saw Faith No More, meh, yes Mr Patton you’re cool cause you use Chat roulette. Down were great, probably because I wasn’t expecting them to be but TOOL, sober, were spectacular.
Oh and I’ve seen The Pixies, RATM, RHCP, the list goes on.

Artsy fartsy Berliners with maaaaaybe two good rekkids up their sleeves. They have more in common with modern contemporary interpretive dance these days than anything remotely resembling an industrial band. And what’s with those frilly shirts and silly hats Blixa seems so fixated upon? Does he think he’s Rembrandt?
No I’m just kidding. Their last album was great.
Swans
Oh, you’re one of those types. Hmmmm.
Laibach
Oh for the love of…
Nurse With Wound
They hardly ever tour. And even if they did…so what? You’re anxious to watch a bunch of 50 year olds wearing labcoats twiddle with knobs???
Big Black
Yeah, but…ok I’ll grant you that one.
Nirvana
I would rather have watched Kurt’s final ‘performance’.
B’doom ch
(Sorry Kurt…no disrespect mate. I’m sure you really were suffering.)
Fantomas
Saw them 4 times. They were good on one of those occasions.
Coil
I’ll settle for that loverly Coil dvd collection soon to cum my way.
Godflesh
Godflesh? Oh right. Yeah of course.
<scratches head>
Slint
Why? Haven’t you ever seen a nervous looking college band before?
Orgy
Korn (mid career)
Ok. So…you just…you make it so easy for me here that I’m not even going to try. I’m just going to walk away from it and let that be that. I’m serious, just watch me do it.
