when i heard metallica for the first time i havent heard of slayer. metallica was my sort of gateway into heavy music, thru which i got to manson, then nine inch nails, then ministry, then even coil, and lots of other different stuff. so i have to say metallica, just for that, even though its no longer the same band for many years. slayer i guess ‘aint what it used to be’ as well, but what can you do. people get old, people change. the recent black sabbath release just proves that. XD

bleh, it’s all the same shit for both bands for a long time now.
metallica announces the song: “hey blabalblabla it feels good to be here blablablabla. but tell me, how does it feel to be alive?!” (crowd: yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa) it was cool to see however, how het made fukin huge crowd of people sing in harmony in the middle of “my friend of misery”.
slayer announces the song: “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR ENSEMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!” (crowd: yeaaaaaaaaa)

I adore that film. It’s the funniest thing ever. The scene where Phil gets canned is awkward comedy at its absolute best.

It’s a great movie. And I respect them for having the balls to show all that, but I kind of don’t respect them for having to do that. Especially if, after all that, you get. . .St. Anger.
