Picked up my tix today, huzzah! Theres only one or two other aussies on here isnt there? Going? From memory u guys don’t like the new stuff much, so probably wouldn’t be in attendance.
I got tix 21 and 22 on 2nd day of sale, well theres 2 months until the show, they should sell a few more lol. At least they have advertising in free zines around the city.
I wish all concert tix were as laid back to buy… not looking forward to Tool coming… probably sell out straight away. I suppose thats what buying online is good for… if they have enough tix available that is. Damn scalpers!
I bought my ticket at Ticketek and am currently having it sent via registered mail. I purchased it at approximately 9:30 on the first day of sale, desperate not to miss out. No word yet of who will be doing support, I can’t even imagine who would be appropriate.

Still a shame no revco. I think they would have been good to see… I saw some on youtube the other week, someone must have recorded a new revco show… would be cool to see a video, any1 know any good quality ones going around yet? the visuals on the youtube looked ok, the audio was … well, barely audible!
As for tool, well, they came last time… lol, just hoping.

Have tix in my hand for the Melbourne show and can’t wait. I have to admit I haven’t given Mole a good go, haven’t got Grande yet, but I really really dug Animostsomina.
I’ve pulled out my Singles Box and been given that a fair beating since the shows were announced, but just checked a recent set list and it seems there’s a lot from Grande and Mole on it.
Can’t wait!!!

Never been to the Palace b4? Really? Fuck I’ve lost count how many shows I’ve seen there. From Machine Head to Fear Factory to DJ Shadow to Infectious Grooves to QOTSA to blah blah blah there’s far too many to mention now. The Palace is an institution. Not the best viewing in the world, it’s a bit hard to see the drummers sometimes, but the sound is awesome - last time Ministry played there in 95 I nearly lost an eardrum.
As for not hearing much of Mole or RGB, judging by the recent setlists, you’d best be advised to track them down. I’ve recently given both a spin and WAITING and WRONG stand out from MOLE and SENOR PELIGRO from RGB is just mindblowing.
Hope they throw in a few old ones from left field like Deity to make up for the 11 years between shows.
Sounds good! Yeah I only just moved to melbourne in the last 6 months, well, back to melbourne, was too young to enjoy gigs when I last lived here though.
I wouldnt hold my breath for old songs… never know though I suppose.

They haven’t confirmed anything yet, but I believe it’s a false alarm.
There was nothing but the one statement made, and the dates are still up on the site.
It’ll be announced here right away if there’s anything to it, I’m sure.
