Austin City Limits Festival

Any of you goin to Austin for the ACL festival next month? My friend and I are going. Just wondering. I have no idea which bands to check out or what it will be like since I have never been before. I reckon it will be hot.

I just saw the surfers in NYC and the band is really really tight and still great to see live…with the projecters sowing penis’s being circumcized over images of charlie brown missing the football and falling down over and over… etc.

Forget ACL, if you live in Austin you need to go to the Fun Fun Fun Fest.

uhm sweet. Hot water music and dr octagon on the same bill with the toxic avenger. So is it a trauma vision thing or just some hip hop guy or whatever?

looks like stage 3 is the place to be.

jesus - i don’t know hardly any of those bands… i’m getting old. sigh

(gonna drown my sorrows - local bar - HERE I COME)

I do know most of them, but I’d only bother with stage 1. there’s a couple decent bands on stage 3 tho as well.

I wonder what exactly the punk rock comedy hour is all about… some no namers or maybe just a guy bitching about how gay the warped tour is or something…
maybe it’s david cross and henry rollins

shocked to see dead milkmen reunite. big fan but their bassist died like four years prior. seems kinda sour. oops, realized a pun.

I would go to this SOLELY to set fire to Minus the Bear. [cool]
