Love this album…just watched Pompeii last night…it had been a while…I think I wore my old vhs copy out completely back in the day…

Cool. Interesting release. I wonder how the floyd feels about it. i get the vibe they aren’t involved. (but it seems to be made very well), or maybe i’m dumb and missed the part that explains all that.

I doubt they’re involved, since they seem to be hung up on minutiae that nobody cares about but themselves on these rereleases lately.
Yeah Gilmour and Waters and two giant 70+ yr old babies…I read a whole article about the Animals remix album being held up because Waters doesn’t like the liner notes…still unclear who even remixed the fucking thing…why would you remix perfection,anyway?..it never ends with these two…

The remixes are probably only noticeable to diehards, like the ones they put out for Momentary Lapse and Division Bell a couple of years ago. For some reason Floyd feels the need to repackage and remaster their whole catalog every 5 years or so.
Like Zeppelin…hehe
I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing this. 
What I’d really like to see is video from the '75 and/or '77 tours.
I also don’t get the remixing and what not. You aren’t going to improve anything by monkeying with something that is already outstanding.
