What’s the Samhain lineup? I saw Danzig open for himself as Samhain in the late '90s, but I’m not sure there were any actual former Samhain members playing except Danzig himself.
Also, I wonder if this means they’ll be re-releasing all the Samhain material. I’ve already got it all, but it’s been out of print for ages…
It’s London May, Steve Zing, Peter Adams from Baroness and some dude called Glenn Danzig.
Yeah, a Halloween Samhain show is pretty sweet. It takes second to a Halloween King Diamond show, though! (Which is what we’ll have in Hollywood!)
True dat! King Diamond sold out within days out here. My only concern is that this is his last tour after I heard he was having health problems. If this is the end of the road for the King, I hope he has one last hurrah with Mercyful Fate. That I hopefully will not miss.
By the way, an earthquake happened as I was typing that last sentence.
I think Kind Diamond’s fully recovered, he had pretty major heart surgery as far as i heard. I’m pretty sure i read an interview with him since then and he’s ok.

That’s good to know. Maybe he sensed my previous post and that’s why the rest of the Bay Area had the biggest quake out here in 25 years.
Well, for Grumpy and anyone else . . . looks like I will be at the Samhain show. An old buddy of mine from back in the day picked up a ticket for me. So if anyone wants to rock out with us just get a floor ticket and join the circus.
And I may go to the SF show afterall. TKK is playing Folsom Street Fair the next day and my ride wasn’t sure if she would have the energy to drive to SJ and then go to FSF. Was thinking of making a weekend out of it, but the upcoming shows are just gonna be Groovie, Buzz and Mimi, and the stripped down shows sound like a bore from the few of you that caught them.

I might be going to the Samhain show. Gotta get my friend up off the couch to drive into NYC with me to buy tix at the box office. (We make it a point not to pay for service fees when we can avoid it.)
I thought so too, but then i read that Deth Red Sabaoth was released in 2010! Maybe he’s just been working, secretly and slowly, on these since then, while saying “I don’t know if i will ever record again, i don’t know if it’s worth my time”. He’s a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, as the Rubber Duck says.
You’re out of your mind. his voice is bad ass still. I just saw him in Sept. on the Samhain tour and that fucker hasn’t missed a note. His voice is fine.
