I was watching Apocalypse Now Redux last night and heard the guitar they used for NWO in there. Remember the scene where he goes to turn down the radio? Never noticed that before and I don’t think the sample list here on prongs has it.
Another one I found recently is the scream at the beginning of Just One Fix is from opening sequence of The Hunger. Man… I miss sloth.org
i always wondered how on earth could anyone figure out “fight! fiiiight!” sample from “the abyss” in “corrosion”… does anyone knows what “lyrics” that track has besides the obvious “corrosion!” and “fight for the answer”?
I always thought it was “write down the answer.” Not really sure, come to think of it.

i just transferred the two, original Apocalypse Now soundtrack cassettes to DAT.
and have the redux CD, too.
the synthesizer sounds are eerie.
I believe the soundtrack won an Emmy or Oscar when the movie was first released in 1979 (yes, I saw it then)
I had a vhs tape of it a long time ago. There’s a new DVD that recently came out that has both cuts of the film. Should probably get that.
I believe the scream in Just One Fix is from Hellraiser II if memory serves me right.
Speaking of Corrosion, has anyone seen the movie Demonlover? Sonic Youth did the soundtrack but theres a few scenes where they use both Corrosion and Grace mixed into their score, no listing of Ministry in the credits that I saw, but it’s definitely those tracks.
