I Wanted To Tell Her (Ultra Hot Razor Cit Mix)? I just stumbled across a CD called “Technopolis 9” and it has it on it. Saez the track is 6:00 minutes long. Is this just someone’s new name of an old remix we all know/have or is this somthing that is new? Any clue peeps?

I recall a mix of IWTTH that was all chopped up with lots of stops and studders, back when that kind of thing was en vogue.
I remember hearing it out in the clubs, but hadn’t thought about it until your post.
I wonder if it’s the same thing. I haven’t found a copy of it yet, just the info. I’m kinda interested in finding out about it though so if anyone can hook a brother up or at least help point me in the right direction… =)

The cut is on the “How To Kill The DJ sampler” CD. It’s listed as the tongue-tied mix. There’s another track on the same disc that is listed as the “Naom Gabo Edit”, but that’s not it.
The “Tongue Tied Mix” was done during the WS sessions, so it’s well over 20 years old.
Still, I had forgotten it. It got played a lot in the clubs back around '83 or so. At least the clubs where I once hung out.
wait, that dj sampler lists it as i wanted to tell her (naom gabo edit). and it’s full of stops/repeats/chunks/etc. at least on the discography on this site. also there’s a single or promo with it with soft cell track as b-side or something.
the tongue tied mix aka “stuck stuck stuck” mix is a different story - it’s more ‘normal’.

Well I messed up and never edited it. It’s supposed to be “I Wanted To Tell Her (Ultra Hot Razor Cut Mix)”… Still though none of you have seemed to havce heard of it or anything. I guess I’m going to have to track down a copy and find out what the deal is with it. =)
