I feel like I’ve seen such an animal out in the wild, but I buy so much foreign bootleg crap on my travels that maybe it was just some goofy unlicensed shit . . . or a distributor just putting everything in a box, hahaha! Anyway, while I have tremendous respect and appreciation for Martin, I think most of us really pick and choose his stuff a-la-carte. It’s not a knock on his vocals. It’s just that a lot of the albums he’s been on are are bit spotty.
I saw.
Chuck D endorsed Bernie, but apparently Flavor flav didn’t, so that has flavors knickers all in a twist.
Sanders probably should’ve just stuck to the Chuck D endorsement… but it was probably his campaign manager that made the mistake of equating Chuck D to all of Public Enemy.
Meh, it’s not a deal breaker, for probably anyone
Ahhhh, thanks. I just saw a couple days ago that there is (happening right now, probably) a Bernie rally in LA today. Some of the ads said PUBLIC ENEMY, which I thought sounded like a reason to possibly go to such an event (it also had Dick Van Dyke on the bill and I fucking LOVE him).
I noticed some of the ads said “Public Enemy Radio” so I figured it was another case of a group fighting amongst itself and coming up with a bunch of different incarnations with various members . . . Venom, Inc, The New Cars, Flag, etc.
Flavor flav just got booted from public enemy!
Guess he shouldve asked the band before he sent that lawyer letter.
Ha ha ha ha!!!
I thought Dick Van Dyke was dead. Apparently not. Abe Vigoda is dead though.
I thought he was too!
Yes, they had been on the outs for some time.
I like How chuck had him pack his shit into a box and had security escort him off the premises with a “We thank him for his years of service and wish him well.”
Flavor flav does not to get to scold Chuck D with “I’m very disappointed in you and your decisions right now,” because endorsing Bernie isn’t nearly as embarrassing as deciding to participate in “Flavor of Love.”
Flavor Flav recently sued Chuck D, alleging he hasn’t received a royalty check for their music, live shows or merchandise in several years.
Isn’t that the record Publisher’s issue? Why would he sue Chuck over it?
