KMFDM BLITZ
Prepare for full blown chaos - KMFDM proudly announces Blitz, the new album for their 25th year. Blitz contains 11 new sonic blasts from the Kapt’n and Krew and will be available on KMFDM Records/Metropolis Records on March 24th, 2009. More information will be available soon.

Please note this is not the Skold vs. KMFDM release, these are two completely different and separate projects.

THE CHRONOLOGIC DEBUT
The Chronologic are Dean Garcia (KGC, Curve, Eurythmics) and Slade Templeton (Velox Music - remixer of 2 tracks from KMFDM’s Brimborium). Their debut release is a digital only EP called Do It Right featuring Lucia on vocals. Do It Right is available as a HQ MP3 download in the KMFDM Store. One additional digital only EP will be released shortly followed by the complete album, Chronologica, sometime in 2009.

I wonder if Skold’s involved on this one as well. Either way it’s pretty cool news to see that sascha’s been working (and in loads it seems). I hope skold’s involved, since he’ll maybe add that extra something something that I think they’ve been missing since he left. Now if only raymond would be come back, heh! KMFDM v. PIG V.2.0! Hells yeah!

Not sure which i’m more anxious for though. This one or KMFDM v. SKOLD. The last few KMFDM albums have been a little lacking to me since 2002, imo. I still wish he’d ditch some of the guitar section…

Christmas just keeps on coming early this year.

Is there even a date for SKOLD v. KMFDM yet? Kinda wish for that one before this one, but either way it’s still good news.

I haven’t bought a new KMFDM album since their re-imaging as the extremely dull MDFMK. I have, however, in the last week started listening to the choice tracks off of BLEEP and NIHIL and was surprised at how much I enjoy that stuff. I think those two albums were the peak for Sascha and crew. I think I’ll check out the “V. Skold” release, fingers crossed there’s a few goodies in there.
