Andrew Wyeth

Just seen Andy’s died at the ripe old age of 91.

He was a great painter, some excellent pieces. I 've had a print of ‘Christina’s World’ on my wall for some time.

For those unfamiliar with him you can check out some of his works here:

R.I.P.

RIP Andrew, one of the last centuries’ great artists [:(]

Also Patrick McGoohan co-creator writer and star of the classic paranoia tv series The Prisoner has died at the age of 80. He was also the best part of Gibson’s Braveheart in his role as Edward Longshanks. The scene where he throws his son’s lover/advisor out the window was awesome.

‘The Prisoner’ was great. Have not seen all the episodes yet so want to pick that up on dvd.

Partick was class as Longshanks and that scene was a highlight alright. He did what had to be done!

I remember when Braveheart was being filmed, close enough to where I live. Mel’s horse for the film belonged to my aunt, but I didn’t get to meet him. If I met him now I’d probably laugh at him as he is an asshole, though he’s not bad as a director and Mad Max will always be a classic.
