This is the song that earned him a juvenile restraining order:

Best verse:

Drove Past Your Doorway Fifteen Times
I Don’t Want To Cause You Harm
Harm – That’s What You’re In For
If You Don’t Open Your Door

What a man.

What a man.

Aw c’mon, he’s very aware that it’s not his proudest moment.

I meant it as a compliment. I would be most proud of such a masterpiece. AWK is a lot more intelligent than people give him credit for. I wouldn’t be surprised if he laughs himself to sleep every night.

I love his personality - just wish his music was a little better. I love the part of the article where he talks about his darker year that followed the song which involved “arson, baseball card forgery and mail fraud”. I can’t wait to hear that story!! Also love the fact that airing this song was encouraged by his “life coach”. Brilliant!

If Andrew WK is indeed an Illuminati mind-slave as some web people would have us believe, the Illuminati certainly wants to influence the world in a strange and unique way.

This seems like another PR stunt. I like this dude’s PR skills and some of the stunts he’s pulled. But his music is kind of shitty. I enjoyed this way more than his other shit.

And I hardly believe this was recorded when he was 17. Give me a fucking break. More like it was recorded 3 months ago when “his life coach advised him to release it” (of course he waited three months…he had to mix and master it not to mention wait until he was promoting a record)

You’re telling me a 17 year old voice can sound like that?

This is the thing with Andy… you just don’t know if he’s serious or not. Hence the appeal. The jocks will yell “party hard” all night while others will take solace in thinking he’s taking the piss. He (or they) should call himself Ambiguity WK… but maybe then that would be too obvious

Just listened to the track, damn it’s really good! Who’d a thunk?

Andrew put out an album called Close Calls With Brick Walls, it was released like 4 years ago but finally making it to the states now. It’s fantastic. There’s some party hard songs on it, but there’s some really awesome experimentation on it. It’s almost Foetus-like in sections.

You’ll also see from a link on that page that GY!BE are reforming (at least for a gig soon). A reunion worth while
