Some hopefully good news. Mr. Bono claims he may never play guitar again due to injuries suffered during a biking accident in NYC a couple months ago. And compares himself to Jimmy Page!?!

If only Bono impacted whatever he impacted with his bicycle a bit harder we could be discussing his lack of breathing instead of playing guitar.
Bono rarely actually plays his guitar onstage anyway, it’s mainly for decoration, same as Al Jourgensen or Max Cavalera. I never understood the need to wear a guitar and not actually play it, they’re pretty fucking heavy to use as a necklace.

At least when he’s singing he’s doing SOMETHING, so you can dismiss any sloppy axework, but this was a fail on so many levels. It was literally the only song he performed on stage with “REVCO”, and he got up just to stumble around playing with a guitar. It wasn’t even a RevCo song, for crying out loud.
I wonder if they even plugged him in, or just let him be a decorative stage prop a la Sid Vicious . . . .

I only made it about 40 seconds in (i hate that song), looks like he’s playing the B and E strings in time with that like “Duh, duh, duh-duh duh” part, but fails to play any other parts of the chords, or even move his hands. Lazy fucker.
