Supposedly a new band featuring “former Ministry RevCo & Lords of Acid members,” according to someone who recently posted in the Kinetik Festival Facebook group. I guess that means Sin Quirin is involved. Does anyone know anything else about them?
RAMCO II - Electric Boogaloo.
Totes
From what Sin has been saying on facebook, AmeriCon will be Josh, Clayton and Sin. Most details appear to be under wraps still.
Just speculating, but maybe 13th planet owns that name and/or demo recordings.

I doubt it as (from the shady hearsay and third party) I understood that Capt. Beefstick was basically the guys’ exodus from the 13th Planet empire. After they supposedly got sick of how everything went down with their little Ramco adventure they cut free from the Planet to do their own thing.

That sounds about right, considering the Lords of Acid update that someone posted today which showed Murv in the lineup but did not mention Sin or Lacey or any of the other cats.
Sin and Lacey are out of Lords of Acid. Lacey made some lengthy message about it on facebook. Sin is focusing on AmeriCon at this point and doesn’t seem to be involved in anything else. Sounds like there is ALOT more to the story of why they left Lords of Acid.

There’s certainly some backstage soap opera action. Following the obligatory and formulaic “going our separate ways/ creative differences” announcement she later noted . . . . “well, there’s a little more to the story, but this is our “official statement” as of now, to keep the peace, if you know what I mean.”
Lacey was in LOA? I take it Nocturne broke up?

Beats me. I didn’t know her as anything but a reality-TV scrapper until I saw some friends’ Facebook posts about her LOA stuff.
Yeah she fronted Nocturne and was one of the many contributors to Pigface for awhile. Never really hear much of her work but I always thought she was pretty hot for a reality tv chick

Which Pigface album(s) was she on? I stopped following the band around 96 or so, but I was pretty devoted for a while.
Wikipedia doesn’t have her listed as a member though I have seen live shots of her on stage with them. Perhaps she was only a live member. Her wiki does say she toured with Pigface when she was in Nocturne. It also says that Nocturne is on indefinite hiatus and that she joined LOA last year. Also says she’s recording a solo album that’s influenced by Gwen Stefani, Pink and Madonna
She was on the 2003 Pigface album Easy Listening. Basically the last thing Atkins put out that was actually an official release, since everything since then were small acts or tribute albums.

When I saw everyone kissing her ass the other day about what a great artist/ singer that was the first track I was able to find.
Yeah that was lame. She’s not even looking that hot anymore. Maybe it’s just the song. Idk if there’s anyone on here who watches wrestling but she almost looked like a white version of Vickie Guerrero at a couple moments
I knew the name Nocturne (though it’s also possible I just think I remember it as it looks like a million other generic gothy-industrial band names) from way back but I never listened to them.
I was kind of ripping on her “fans” on Facebook and she was actually really good humored about it. The Pigface thing didn’t interest me, but I snapped to when I saw that her band toured with King Diamond. She told me she has some good KD stories but she hasn’t come through yet. If she tells some good tales of King Diamond I’ll forgive her of all her crappy music.
Nocturne and the King on tour together?! What an odd mix. I imagine Nocturne got booed off the stage. When I saw the King in '05 the support bands were Nile, gay ass Black Dahlia Murder and Behemoth. Say what you want about Behemoth but they’ve always stolen the show every time I’ve seen them. Still, Nocturne and King Fuckin Diamond on the same tour. Who else was on that bill?
