That’s a fair point. But blabbing would make Trump the center of attention, which he needs. Also, it would put Trump in the history books as the person who introduced all of humanity to Aliens. So, there definitely is motive.

Even at that speed, it would take centuries to go from star to star. Never gonna happen. EXCEPTION: Wormholes may make space travel feasible. But finding them, and accessing them, is way out of range for us, and I don’t see any star-faring race coming HERE for any reason. As civilizations go, we’re still pre-adolescent.

Unless he gets a bug up his ass and wants to bomb some more countries at a whim (sorry, Syria), it doesn’t look like we’ve got any big plans for major wars/campaigns on the immediate horizon.
I’m thinking the Pentagon might be a bit nervous that their zillion dollar budget might get the squeeze. So why not start dropping some little Easter Eggs here and there about a possible threat from outside our planet?

I’ve heard a few theories as to why they’re trying to destigmatize ufos now because it is fucking weird that mainstream media is covering it more seriously. I’m immediately suspicious of this seeing as they bent over backwards trying to discredit ufos/aliens for the longest time
One theory I’ve heard says it’s the govt ultimately aiming for a bigger military budget. I guess they plan on scaring us with these videos of otherwordly vehicles and they’re magically going to save us if we further bloat their military budget lol. As if anything we have can protect us against those things.
Another theory I’ve seen says some deep pentagon truth embargo is coming to an end and this is the govt’s way of looking like the good guys at the end of it by being forthright with all this evidence and hearings instead of the deceitful people they’ve been all along. Basically, this theory states that its all a PR stunt because they’ve been knowing about these UFOs and that for the most part they’re not hostile.
I’ve been thinking about this one specifically since last year when David Fravor went on Rogan. This definitely makes sense. You deny for forever because you’re locked in a cold war with Russia and you try to down play the “threat” so we don’t look weak but now that the cold war is over, now we need new justification for the military bloat. So, yeah, “Aliens” are the new threat that never ends and lets us throw money at the military for forever.
And yea, what could we do against a species that compared to us has unlimited power? Anything that is here on Earth that they could want, they could conceivably make on their home planet with that kind of power. So, no reason to show up here unless it’s to be friends or dickheads. Not sure why they’d wanna be friends, we have nothing to offer, and by the same token, why would they wanna waste their time picking on the slow kid? You’d figure they have better things to do.
I’d love for this to be the case. I WANT this to be the case, but I’m not holding my breath. All of these sightings are special though because it’s either aliens and that’s beyond fuckin cool OR it’s us and we have some crazy new physics defying flying machines (or it’s a 3rd or 4th thing that’s unrelated to the first two) which is crazy cool and we can actually use them in space and have already been to Mars and other planets in the solar system.

I’ve not heard him weigh in either but would love to know. He was really nonchalant and practically ambivalent about the topic of Aliens when interviewed by Rogan. It really threw Joe for a loop when Elon just said he didn’t think there were any aliens. Then when Joe asked about the possibility of proof/evidence being found, Elon was practically android, like, “Well, I guess I’d have to reevaluate things at that time.”
Yeah, I haven’t heard Elon’s take either. He’s got political opinions and a bazillion projects going on but he doesn’t talk about aliens… Probably because he’s one of them and doesn’t wanna cast suspicion on himself so he stays out of it. lol

I just went back and watched that Elon episode on Rogans podcast. He’s a little dismissive which is weird. He probably knows something, I mean how could he not? Space is his business and NASA catches objects on space cams all the time.
It does seem weird that Elon would be so dismissive of this, after all his whole career has been based on “What ifs” and “Future Possibilities” but then again if he knows “for sure” would that interest him? because knowing isn’t necessarily challenging or worth anything .
Also, why would NASA share that with him? They only recently just partnered up, and I think he did that interview before the partnership… As strange as it may sound, I honestly don’t believe NASA would have much to do with Alien Life or ships… I think they would be the first to spot it but then the government/Military would swoop in and usher that shit away and leave NASA in the dark.
You wanna know about Aliens and Alien Tech then Grumman, Boeing and other jet builders are the data bases that need to be hacked (Not NASA and the government) but even then you’re gonna need to know what you’re looking for because if we have made contact it’s not gonna be listed as Alien Race, They’re gonna be called Larry and the Immigrants or some other innocuous thing like that because there would be no reason to call them “Aliens” or UFO or UAP if we know their names.
