Interesting. It says they are “plotting at the 13th Planet compound”. I wonder if they’re gonna do something together?
Sascha’s had the exact same look for 25 years.
if they’re gonna do something together
It will be shit, obviously.
Ah, i hope for the best. I won’t get my hopes up. Ministry have been much better than KMFDM for the past few years. Well, they always were, but KMFDM have been a bit slack for some time.

Maybe it will. But then again, maybe it will really soothe my sore joints and muscles, and give me all the antioxidants I need to stay in shape.
Stronger than never ever before!
The bar is so low that Jourgensen doing a guest spot on the new album might end up being its best feature.

Didn’t work for Front Line Assembly.
Then how come it wipes the floor with many Bush era Ministry songs?
“Stupidity! It’s all I ever see.”
Lyrics that good? Oofah.
Ass Clown, you’re going down.

I sense another layer in the aloe Vera multi level marketi scheme being laid.
Ass Clown, you’re going down.
Touché.
But still, that FLA song sucked. And I actually like FLA.

I like Front Line and you’re right that song sounded really out of place. However, I did think it is better than most Latter Day Ministry and had no lyrics as dumb as Hail to His Majesty.
I remember guesting on a KMFDM album with Rieflin, it was a blast:
Al used to whine so much about sascha and vice versa on the "mind " tour, but in all fairness they did cut into our beer supply fairly heavily…it was Tucker who eventually took KMFDM to task for this, resulting in Sascha losing his shit at Al in broken english (highly amusing) and Al sticking up for us, and for our Coronas (they got their own every night, they just drank so much of it) it’s one of these stories that reminds me that Al was often the man to have in your corner back then, he did so a lot of good things too,
I’m glad these two are getting married

I really liked your contributions to KMFDM, by the way. Do you think you would officiate at Al and Sascha’s wedding i they asked you to? [:)]
Hey Chris, didn’t they make up over a Patsy Cline tape?
Could be interesting, they’ve both put out a large amount of great music, moreso Al than Sasha, i’d definitely buy it. But could either one of their egos take it if the other produced this project? A few years ago, at the height of my KMFDM mania, my head would have fucking exploded at the very idea of this. Since then a few subpar albums have pretty much killed my interest in them (it all sounds the same now and i just haven’t found any of the recent stuff that interesting), but still this is quite an intriguing prospect, and i hope it happens.
I have already dismissed Al’s talk of no more Ministry, “I’m finished with the music business”, as bullshit, he’s the rock star who cried wolf by this point, so i’m hoping for some more albums from him. Even if there’s no more Ministry i think he ended it on a high note, i loved the last album although i may be in the minority. As long as it’s better than Buck Satan i would welcome any side projects or new stuff from Al.
Both bands have just been on autopilot. Al doesn’t really want to do it anymore, but has to. And Sascha’s just run out of ideas with a generic sounding band. After being around for 30 years (both bands), I could only imagine it becoming more, and more difficult to really be creative and do something new.
Hmm, while KMFDM has been rather boring for a while now, at least their production is always top notch, while the last Ministry album with good production is probably Dark Side Of The Spoon… Would be nice to actually enjoy the sound of something that Al is involved in once again.
IMO, KMFDM has been far more consistent than Ministry. I have my gripes about both, but can honestly say I enjoy more nu-kmfdm songs than I do Ministry, post-barker.
