Thanks for the link. I have to say I agree with everything Al said about Mp3’s I wonder if Angie knows that’s how he feels about Mp3’s cause Angie certainly doesn’t feel that way and has made her views known.

i really like al’s viewpoint on the mp3’s and shirts. what is angie’s view on downloading? does she think people should be fined or whatever because they are stealing from them? it seems like a lot of people who are really just fans of music share al’s view, while those more involved in business side are obviously against downloading. so i guess it makes sense that their views on this would differ.

Well I remember When TLS leaked and she was super furious talking about legal action and what not for the person(s) that leaked the CD because she had the sound frequencies “inked” (or something like that) so she’ll be able to find out which copy was leaked and sue them. She was admonishing pissants for listening to it before it was actually released.
I beleive she said something to the effect of “that she was repsonsible for the multiple versions of the record” and that only some specific mixes would be available on iTunes an no where else so if you want 'em you got to buy 'em extra. she’s really into the money end of things as you mentioned in your above post.

i don’t remember her wanting to find out and sue the person who leaked the last sucker…
and i don’t think that tls or any ministry/revco cd leak since 2003 was somehow marked or whatever.
but i do remember that before the actual release date, all the tls-related posts with the spoilers or reviews or even cover pictures would be instantly nuked. that’s understandable though.
by the way. there was some sort of “encrypted” info in the album art. and the chart for deciphering it was posted.

totally dude!! it sparked a thread over here about encrypted info and whether it was possible to track that stuff. and supposedly it was possible because trent found out that gibby hanes leaked his album.

actually, yeah someone did do that. if i remember correctly a mod posted the key and sick steve and several others deciphered it. look through the back log you’ll find it all there. I belive it was july 07

I heard after TLS leaked the pre-teen suicide rate shot up .
I mean put yourself in these kids shoes - NO MORE MINISTRY.
Makes sense.
The suicide rate rise in teens wasn’t a surprise, I mean they’d been raised by the Bush Trilogy and knew what they’d be missing, but what did shock was the suicide spike among the tweens and pre-teens. Who would have thought that Al and Company had such a special affect among the fans of Hannah Montana?
And the infant suicide rate, that was just sick…

I remember this thread. She was very upset. Her posts sounded like some RIAA campaign.
If there was no possibility to download music illegally, record sell rates would still be quite the same. If you’re a fan, you buy the record even though you could or have downloaded it. If you’re not a real fan, you would not buy it but copy it from a friends CD.
