al speaks

On REVOLTING COCKS’ new album, “Cocked And Loaded”, MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen is using humor as a weapon. Songtitles include “Devil Cock”, “Revolting Cock Au Lait” and “Prune Tang”, which is yet another attack on his arch enemy, the Bush family.

“It’s a play on words,” he tells the Swedish magazine Close-Up. “‘Poontang’ is slang for ‘pussy’ and ‘prune’ is a prune and those are crumpled. In other words: old pussy! It’s our most political song and it’s about Barbara Bush.”

Would you consider having sex with her?

“Fuck yeah! Fuck, I would have sex with anything, old George too, for that matter!”

MINISTRY’s upcoming album, “Rio Grande Blood”, is dedicated to George W. Bush.

"MINISTRY is harder and faster than ever because of him. But I guarantee you that he will be out of the White House before the end of the year.

Close-Up: If you sodomize him, yes.

“That would be rough sex,” chuckles Jourgensen. “But it will take a 12-pack of beer and four bottles of wine for me to be able to fuck him. What a great idea! We cause a big scandal, so that he’s forced to resign. I’ll see what I can do about it.”

Drugs are bad.

didn’t know Prune Tang was about Miss Bush. interesting.

al is so obsessed with bush, it’s sickening. thanks for the news bit, revco. now let’s bitch about it.

soon al would say this - “on this third album, which bashes bush even more! - i have this song about him that will make it clear, how do ministry think of bush’s administration”. it will turn out the song would be called “bush sucks!” and the verses would be:

bush sucks, bush sucks
bush sucks, bush sucks

chorus: SUUUUX! BUSH SUUUUX!

fuck,i know al likes to have a bit of a laugh and make a bit of a statement, but he’s making himself look no better than a little kid by making fun of his adversary’s mother.
i mean, for fucks sake, politics is politics, and sure al has every right to criticise bush and his agenda’s, no matter how wrong or right he is, but he’s overstepping the line when he’s writing a song slandering another man’s mother, who for all we know, may very well not see eye to eye with her husband and son in terms of politics,
grow up al.
yes, this coming from a 17 year old male.

I really dont mind politically charged lyrics (especially if I more or less agree with them) but this is going too far, even for me.

I would recommend that we boycott the album in response to this puerile attack. However, I doubt that anyone’s going to buy it anyway, judging from the response those shitty mp3s got. So no point really.

Unlikely that I’ll even waste the time to download this latest embarrassment off the net.

Prunetang? Fire Engine? pfft.

This is pretty sad… poor Al!

If you wish to understand why peaople like Al are so mad go here…and read

Haha we “understand”…we just don’t need to hear it over and over for an entire fucking album (or 3).

Mom jokes? Come on…

Your statement would warrant some merit if Barbara was an innocent bystander. She is IN FACT not an innocent bystander and has spoken up more than once about her little boy and hius policies, which makes her fair game for a song depicting her character; which, if you listen to the Bull that she spews out from that hole under her nose, is not slanderous at all

who for all we know, may very well not see eye to eye with her husband and son in terms of politics,

If this were the case she would keep her mouth shut, at the very least and Openly disagree with them at the very most but she does neither!

grow up al…

Aaaaaahhh pretentious youth! those were the days. Good luck with yourself evil dildo even though you are ONLY 17, Sheesh, as if age matters.

I sort of figured the Babs Bush statement was a joke, saying a song is the most political and about old pussy - you know, sounds more like a joke than a strong statement of intent.

I wonder if Al is getting money from some source that wants there to be a political message in his music and this is his attempt to say “Yeah, really, the new Cocks material is political, just listen…” Then they listen and get so grossed out over the concept of Barbara Bush’s pussy (truly a frightening thought) that they just sign the check anyway. Just a thought.

Houses of the Mole was kinda embarassing(though I liked the songs). This is worse.

Fine, I stand corrected on the issue of Barb’s politics, mate, but couldn’t Al have argued his case in a more articulate fashion? I mean, if he’s so fucking passionate about it, he should express his beliefs eloquently, rather than inadvertently belittle the beliefs of those who agree with him. He’s turned countless opportunities to make truly incisive and witty attacks against the bush family into pathetic insults akin to that of a 5 year old’s.

stupid. stupid. stupid.

i think he’s just constantly drunk… his brain is totally in alcohol (as if drugs weren’t enough to fry it:)

He was goofing around. I’d be willing to bet that “Prunetang” is not a political song. It’s just a novelty number.

I totally agree, but by the use of your slang (called Me “Mate”) would suggest that you are not from the US (nobody talks like that here); which is not necessarily a bad thing (you’re probably better informed about our situation than about 90 percent of US citizens) but the point I’m making is that it doesn’t matter if Al speaks with eloquence or not because if you lived here you would know that even the most solid of arguments are trivialized by our “Liberal Media” so I would imagine Al went ahead and trivialized his song before the “news” could OR he just took his topic and switched it around as if the news WAS liberal but still trivializing things the way they do and wrote as if the news were covering it. I don’t know, either way, unless your here you really can’t imagine how much twisting of facts and trivializing of situations there is going on here. I mean, the VICE PRESIDENT just shot a 78 year old man in the face (2/11/06) and our LIBERAL MEDIA made the Vice president out to be the victim rather than the aggressor. It was incredible. So, Al’s response of a five year old would seem very juvenile to an outsider but given the current climate of our society’s health it might be that that little tirade is the only thing the populace might understand.

yeah, i’m from australia… i guess i’m one of those people who type how i speak subconsciously!
anyhow, what you say makes sense. but the only downside of that it’s giving the right wing ammunition to potray the left wing as nothing but a bunch of childish mudslingers.

but then again… isn’t childish mudslinging what politics is all about? [laugh]

Yes. Our (North America’s) political climate is that of a playground brawl at the moment - the thing is, I’m not sure that it’s ever been anything but!
I, personally, am as liberal as one can be while still being a REASONABLE human being; however, it would seem that my ‘party’ (the democrats) are taking a page from their Republican counterparts and have started up with the mudslinging, childish name-calling once again. I don’t see why they shouldn’t; it would seem they’re trying their damndest to emulate the Republicans in every way possible - cutting funding to important programs, stalling regulations that would put emissions at “acceptable” levels (you get why that’s in quotes, right?), and generally undermining any progress made in the past hundred years towards peace and prosperity for those not in the top 1%.
Until the Dems stop taking handouts from the same corporate kitty that the Republicans call their bread and butter, I’m freaking OUT of it. The problem here is that there are NOT two parties left in this “two-party” system, rather there is now the blatant thievery of the Republicans, and their little lackey boys, the Democrats. Neither of these parties represents myself or my ideals, nor do they have the best interest at heart of anyone that isn’t themselves. When voting in this country, it comes down to this - do I want the guy to say “I Love You” when he fucks me, or to simply say “Grab yer ankles, bitch!” Either way, I’m getting fucked.
With all this in mind, it’s easy to see how Al and co. could be upset enough to resort to the name-calling and such…when your enemy is acting like a five year old, you want to act like one right back. However, this is not the way to resolve anything. Alright, so Barbara Bush is a bitch (read Al Franken’s account of their meeting to see what I mean), and she has a wrinkly pussy. It’s funny, I admit. “Prune Tang,” how clever! But really, is calling her out on it going to fix the fact that millions live below the poverty level in the most prosperous country in the world? I think not.
Besides that, it’s just a lame song. [;)]

i think houses of mole adequatley covered his feelings on the matter (or man)…

a whole album dedicated to one person was a bit much… but it was amusing for the fact that it was a whole album dedicated to slaming one dude…

but letting it leak into revco is a bit of a moodkiller i think…

i couldn’t agree more with the point he’s trying to make, but the fact is i got it already… he’s flogging a dead horse… and that’s not what revco was about…

revco was about being flogged by a dead whore…
