I remember hearing that Al went up on stage with Skinny Puppy on one of their recent tours to play Tin Omen. Do any videos or pictures of this event exist?
I was there, it was during the GWOTR tour at Irving Plaza, I believe the first night. I was up in the balcony, right next to the VIP section when, during Otto’s set, Al and Ogre walked right into me. I thought to myself, “oh shit…that’s Al…I bet you he’s making an appearance tonight since Ogre came out during Ministry’s previous tour in NYC”
Al talked about this a bit in an interview around that time where he said basically that Bill Morrison had to refresh his recollection backstage about how to play Tin Omen. He was also worried that cEvin Key would have a problem with him being there, but everything turned out cool.
I have not run across a boot of this particular show but it is rumored to be out there.
