Yeah really, Al is drug free??? Acid is not a drug to Al… I remember reading an interview when Al was saying over and over again that he is drug free and all the pitfalls of doing H. I could care less but don’t fucking lie to the fans.[:P][mad][shocked]

Before animositisomina, Al said that he was drug free and all that bullshit. And on the fornicatour he said he was clean. I can see why there is a huge revolving door with members of ministry right now. My opinion…
I for one happen to sober…have been for a number of years now, and one thing I’ve gotten to notice is how frequently people will offer up comparisons of themselves to me.
One example is a friend of mine whom still drinks, still smokes weed, but every now and then he’ll attempt to relate to me with “I’ve been clean for X years now, but I remember…” I never bother saying anything to him, but basically he means he’s been off coke.
I always took Al sort of the same way…I don’t think he ever met he’d become sober meaning he doesn’t intoxicate himself anymore…merely that he had dropped Heroin. Or more so, he felt that he had dropped the chemical(s) with which he had no control over.
I don’t agree with such as a definition of sober, but at the same time, as somone that is sober, I’ll be the first to say that as far as I’m concerned, I don’t have a problem with drugs, I just found I wasn’t able to handle them. If Al feels he has his crap together, that he isn’t letting his life fall apart, and wants to drop acid, I say so be it and power to him, I wish I could be like him. If in fact he’s just lying to himself however, it’s his funeral, not mine, and frankly, I couldn’t care less.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings BUT I’ve heard rumor (control) from several people that Al was trying to saddle up in Hollywood for those shows. I don’t know if he actually scored any but the fact that that drug is very abundant in Hollywood makes me think he wouldn’t have to try very hard. I’m not generally one to pass on rumors (if anyone has seen my tenure on this board you know this) BUT the sources seemed credible and didn’t know each other. Just don’t die before the next record is what I say!!

Yeah, I’ve had enough thrash metal ministry lately. Not to mention all the guitar solos too. Just stay completely off heroine Al. I had a really great friend who died from a overdose on heroine. Nicest guy in the world died at 24 years old. I do want ministry to make another few records even if i don’t like the music direction they are in currently.
