Less is more. He’s still covering that giant bald patch with his bandana. Al’s clever with the dread combover though.
My brother was an extra for IM2 and told me all about the scenes he was in the background for. Apparently, Mickey Rourke’s character shows up at a nascar race and proceed to flip cars all over the place. He said it was quite fun to watch cars being flipped and blown up.
Al’s dreads are completely fake and it is very obvious for anyone who is within talking distance of him. He seems to have some kind of pretty complex system going on, with the bandannas/hats and the fake dreads. Way too much effort imo, nothing wrong with being bald!!!

The dreds are kind of his trademark image at this point, and if he just shaved it all off he’d look kind of pumpkiny, ya know?
