Al Jourgensen interview and doing the weather report

all things considered with his face, he seems pretty healthy, happy, and with it. no slurring or talking like a babling idiot.

ok, so I don’t believe there will be a MOVIE coming out about his first autobiography, nor do I think he’s ALREADY putting out a 2nd autobiography, but still, good to see him looking good and in good spirits.

Hilarious.

I like how every post about Al has to be quantified by how much of it is bullshit.

Sober Al is so foreign to me… Good for him.

That was pretty amusing, he seemed well.

I was glad to see this and I hope things go well for him.
If there were to be a film adaptation for his bio,
Who would portray Al? [reply]

That is by far the best he has looked in many years.

Eddie Deezen

I always said Mickey Rourke. Now it’s just Mickey in his Iron Man 2 phase.

That was on the mid-day news??? Surreal and bizarre…

Great to see AL sober.

it was actually weird to see him sober and forming a coherent thoughts and sentences, without slurring or bragging how drunk he is, how badass he is, how much and what he smokes, etc… fukin’ weird!

i mean i’m used to see him mostly wasted or half-wasted i ninterviews since like 2000 or so

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought I also noticed a capacity for Al to make fun of himself a little, e.g. remarking how he could do weather even with a forehead tattoo. I can’t even remember the last time I heard or saw him be self-effacing about anything.

Wow! No need to repeat what everyone else has said, but, yeah! All of that!

It is really refreshing to get a taste of clean and “sober” Al. He’s in good spirits, looks great, well spoken, and pretty upbeat.

I really liked that whole segment. I even liked the goofball reporter guy. These types of segments are always hard for me when they feature an actual icon or artist that I’m well familiar with and a fan of. The reporters typically either are completely clueless knobs who bumble their way through based on a 3 x 5 card they read 2 minutes before the segment, or they are sort of fans already and need to drop every stupid little thing they might know just to kiss ass and try to show the guest and viewers how hip they are.

Reporter guy didn’t overdo anything, but he was also obviously a genuine fan and quite excited to have such an opportunity. I don’t know . . . I just appreciate such honesty. The dude looks like a knob, but I would totally hang out with him and buy him a beer.

I was kind of expecting more from Al’s “weather forecast”, but, it’s all good.

To the OP (I don’t remember who it was) – Thanks for sharing this clip.

Al looks good “dressed up” and in a tie.

I think Al realised, under the hot lights of the weather station, that he actually couldn’t do that girl’s job after all and beat a hasty, yet dignified (almost), retreat.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, Dear. That is brutally accurate. I wasn’t even thinking it at the time, but, yeah, that’s it, for sure. You nailed it.

Jared Leto.
Seriously.

It’s awesome that Al’s got his shit together. Seriously hope it lasts.

I liked everything except for the part about bragging the he was rich now. We all know he would not be touring of selling his back catalog if he didn’t need the dough.

He said he was richer now than when he moved to El Paso, which might be true.

If his divorce goes through he will be poorer.

And then Al will be doing a cover of Hole’s “Violet” just for the chorus alone. “GO ON TAKE EVERYTHING! TAKE EVERYTHING!”
