Al Interview

Great read. Glad to hear Al is sober…keep it going!

It has just been announced that the Dub version of that interview is coming out on Cleopatra in September.

Funny interview. I wish him well. …in his sobriety, and other personal problems.

Drum machines aren’t so bad… [:)]

But yeah, of the samples I heard, I wasn’t a fan of them with this particular project. I’d rather it be more organic.

What really surprised me is that Al actually sounds coherent and intelligent in that interview! I hope he stays off everything and continues exploring other genres and experimenting.

like i said, wish him well.

Like everyone said, kick ass interview. I wish he would of asked him about the whole Undercover and Everyday Is Halloween thing.

I was thinking that. I’m a bit surprised, since the interviewer seemed pretty on the ball.
I am glad he asked about the fake Buck Satan band, even if Al didn’t really have an answer.

Maybe now that he is sober (hah!) he will drop the bullshit about With Sympathy being an “abortion” and give us that the deluxe re-release of that one that was canned at the last minute a couple years ago.

On top of that, I’d love to see an “Early Trax vol 2” as well as remastered versions of all of the Warner Bros back catalogue. Those albums are in desperate need of remastering and some bonus material.

Doubtful seeing as how he still sees himself as a sell out. he was talking in the interview about how he did everything in reverse. Started as a sell out and now he’s boyscout sober…
Late,

Psalm 69 will probably get some deluxe edition treatment or some shit. Afterall next year is the 20th anniversary

Sure.
Hard limit it to hell and normalize to 100% to make it super loud but destroy all the dynamic range and slap on a second disc with the b-sides from that era.
Everybody’s doing it.

I’m the only one who took “not labeled” as in the record doesn’t have a label/name yet?

It would be nice to get “expreimental” Al back again. I’m not looking for another TLORAH, but I definetely would like something that pushes the envelope. I mean, that was what made all of us love Al and Co. to begin with isn’t it?

And does anyone have any clue when we will get the Buck Satan album out there? Or even some samples to check out?

first interview with him in years where I didn’t just say “dickhead” and click the x

^
This.

I thought it was because of Paul Barker.

GO!

Found a Blackouts record at the radio station the other day and gave it a spin, it’s pretty obvious why the sound changed dramatically after Twitch

Blackouts. That’s what sounds great.

Let’s all spin some Blackouts.

Didn’t Al also say he was to do another Lard ? I do not understand why he is soo lazy with his shit. He has that studio in texas collecting dust wasting away. Why does he like to frustrate fans?
