I sound like a broken record, but I think the real drums on Houses make a big difference. I think it’s one reason people prefer it to the other Bush albums, even if they don’t consciously realize it.
It did. Didn’t most of RGB have a drummer also? Baker? Guy who drummed on the 04 tour. Pretty sure he was credited for drums.

I notice that on the 13th Planet Shop, regular CDs are $10 and autographed CDs are $20. I hope Al isn’t planning a scam where everyone who wants a Buck Satan CD has to pay twice as much for it just because he autographed them all. [:/]
