Some diversity is really what’s needed. If it’s just another boring metal album then no thanks. I’ll check it out though. Lame that buck satan
Is digital only, but oh well.
It doesn’t hurt my feelings if you don’t like his style or whatever, but I am curious who you would rather have playing guitar with Ministry . . .
LOUIS SVITEK FTW
[reply][reply][reply]Scaccia strikes me as a buttrocker who probably didn’t even understand the good Ministry material when they made it.
i definitely agree with that…although i don’t know much about him.
seems like he’s rounding up a bunch of no talent idiots (you’d have to be to work with Al at this point) who have nothing better to do.
p.s i actually liked Rio Grande Blood.[/reply]
Scaccia’s a musician. Plain and simple. He’ll play circles around any other tool that Al pulls up on stage (or off). But he doesn’t really get involved in any stupid politicking or such (in Ministry he’s there to support Al’s band in whichever direction Al wants to take it). He does his parts, adds much needed flair to many songs, and executes whatever he’s doing with style and precision.
Most people either only know his playing in Ministry, and a few are familiar with his work in Rigor Mortis (his playing is showcased best in his own band). He gets a reputation for just being a turbo speedmetal player, but he’s actually extremely versatile and can, and has, deliver well in pretty much any genre (metal, punk, country, pop, etc.).

Here’s a quote from that one “Bleeding out” interview…
There is no more Ministry: no Ministry comeback and none of this other crap that all these guys who say it’s their last thing and then come out with something else as soon as they need to pay their mortgage or buy a yacht or something like that.
This was presumably said after these new Ministry songs were made…
Even sober he changes his mind more often than I change my pants.
He’s also got a tendency to announce projects way before he should (remember when Scott Ian was going to be on a new RevCo record? Whatever happened to the new Pailhead and Lard albums he was going to do a couple of years ago?) so I wouldn’t be surprised if this never ends up happening.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Perfect.
And I’m not sure about the title. What is this an Eminem record?
Deal.
We’ll see whassup, guys.
I’d even settle for a new Black Sabbath album over a new Ministry album.
What was the point of the C-U-LA-TOUR??
Have you all forgotten the Bush Trilogy?
Are you all mad?
Better late than never.
You’re Forever Welcome,

the Name of the photo is called “obvious.”
Damn, I hope it’s “obviously” photo shopped cause otherwise I’ll be pissed that i didn’t get to see how swollen his face was after all of those were done.

One thing we’re all pretty sure about at least, he’s lost ALOT of weight. Interesting though that for fake dreads, they’ve gotten pretty long since i’ve last really seen Al. But that interview in question about no more ministry, I think I remember that one, and it might be from 08… I’m putting my money towards new ministry and so on.
Damn! How many coffin guitars does that geezer have anyway?

all the pots and pans fell out of my cupboard at the same time as the garbage disposal was on and grinding up a live walkie talkie, while the baby monitor was feeding back… I just happened to have my phone set on sound recorder…
Long story short… I just brokered a deal with Fennesz. He’s gonna put it on wax and sell it to peligro for $750.
True Story!

Yeah. That’s pretty much the average yokel head approximate understanding of what constitutes avant garde art.
No way.
