I hope Al makes a trilogy of lawsuits.
From the start, Al had a legitimate beef on this lawsuit, at least on the debt side of things. You can start an LLC, promise to pay someone for a movie about them, then disolve the llc and claim your are not liable due to the LLC being defunct.
As a fan, I hope cooler heads prevailed here and Al is agreeing to let the movie see the light of day to recoup the debt.
It is likely Jourgensen came to the inescapable conclusion that the quickest way to get his coin is to let the film be released and generate revenue.
Regardless of the reason, it’s about time this thing sees the light of day.
Which is the smart option. He was expecting to get it up front, which was insane. Yeah, they owe him heaps of cash, but how can they pay you if you don’t let them release it? Wise decision.

wow, seriously?! they’ve been stringing people along for awhile now…they should probably let their fans know on FB that it’s going to take a couple months. i mean damn, i know it’s not his fault, but they’ve been talking about releasing this for how long?!
i guess we’ll all go running for it once it comes out anyway. i just want to fucking see it already!
I hear ya. Doug wants to get it out as fast as possible in the most accessible way so that the fans can have it. But, with so many people (and lawyers) involved in the project, it’s quite a bit more complicated.
If it were up to Doug you’d have it already . . .
