If you could hear Al do a cover song by another band . by who and what tune.
- Metal Health - Quiet Riot
- One In A Million - Guns n’ Roses
- I wanna Be Some Body - Wasp

I highly doubt Al will ever utter the lyrics:
“Police and niggers (that’s right), get outta my way
Don’t wanna buy none of your gold chains today”
nothing personal but that 's a great jam
al could slide in and do corn shucker
When I think of cover song suggestions I try to think of things that could actually be re-interpreted with the band’s own spin on things. A lot of the recent Ministry covers were crap because it’s just “faster! louder!” but songs like “Lay Lady Lay” and “Supernaut” or “If Ya Think I’m Sexy” were all given their own funk and swagger and came out really cool.
I’d like to see them (perhaps via RevCo) take on . . .
Britney Spears’ “Toxic”
Judas Priest - “Turbo Lover”
Miley Cyrus - “Wrecking Ball”
Duran Duran - “Wild Boys”
(some of these tracks would be in serious need of some funky Paul Barker bass, by the way)
I’d like to hear Al cover more of his early songs. I actually like the metal version of Halloween.
Or better yet- synth pop versions of later songs. The Filth Pig album would translate well I think.
A guy that sits in the next office was listening to something the other day and it sounded a lot like Filth Pig but it wasn’t. I think it was some old rock song. I didn’t get a chance to ask what he was playing. Does anyone know what it might have been. After hearing that song I can say for certain that either Ministry copied someone or someone copied Ministry.
I used to know this. I think there is Melvins song that inspired Filth Pig.
Grimace want hear ministry version of that song about milkshakes bringing boys to yard. Grimace identify with this theme.

Nightgoat by the melvins
And yes al copied
I think Al should cover the covers he already did
and then wait 3 years and put out a remixxx album of it
Type O Negative - The Misinterpretation of Silence and Its Disastrous Consequences
John Cage - 4’33
Chocolate Rain
An entire cover of the new wave album that the Village People did…
With Sympathy in it’s entirety. But make it sound like At The Gates.
It could be the first release from that Speed Meth whatever project he’s getting involved with next.

Well played sir, well played.
‘You can call me Al’
why has this not been done yet…
why!
With a few exceptions, Ministry’s covers are atrocious.
The only thing worse is other bands trying to cover Ministry.
[reply]En Esch’s Stigmata are killer as well.
I believe you mean “Work For Love” but the point remains the same.
Hard to say who did the worst Ministry cover. PIG doing “Just Like You” would definitely fall under most disappointing, especially in comparison with some other songs he’s covered…
the shizit - just one fix
great cover
the sesame street theme…oh but wait, he already did that!
Remember boys & girls?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 99 Percenters…
Hey kids, can you say, “Eat Shit & Die, Uncle Buck!”
