I’ve just arrived back from the Swans gig in Glasgow and that was without a doubt the most incredible and deadliest live music performance I’ve ever witnessed. Seriously friggin amazing. That was some next level shit and I now feel truly sorry for all other bands on the planet Earth…you all suck.
I will post some videos I took tommorow…obviously they don’t catch the devastation of the live sound but regardless…they’re still pretty damn ferocious if you put some good headphones on and crank it!
They look too ‘nice’. I expect Swans to look like they just crawled out of the sewer after escaping from maximum security where they were being held for unfathomably evil acts against small children. I want them to make the Manson gang look like total pussies. Cos their music demands it.
That stage set up in near identical to the performance I saw. But they are somthing else. I’m glad you enjoyed it. They most certainly make every other band look like pussies.
@peligro: if you were serious about wishing they came out and looked all ridiculous I most certainly disagree. It’s most fitting that they look like they do. A bunch of 40 someting seasoned masters showing up all the younger wusses. They don’t need to fall back on silly gimmicks or costumes, they just come out and annihilate
