My noise project, for those of you who are into that kind of thing. Just created the bandcamp page today. I have a couple records I’m putting the finishing touches on, and then I’ll post them, but for now it’s just this one long piece. It’s actually the benefits meeting we had today at work, chopped and screwed. Turn-about’s fair play, right?
And the Nazi thing is totally tongue in cheek, btw. Back when I was still in college, there was one of those big lumberjack statues on the side of the highway that looked like it was heiling, so there you go.
There is also this video out there:
Which is the first and only so far Adolph Bunyan live performance, last year at NoiseFeSTL (more on that later- suffice to say if you dig on noise, St. Louis is a good place to be mid-October- check out some of the videos to the right for proof). Sitting in with me was my buddy Karthik Kakarala. I thought we did okay, but fair warning: I let a contact mic get out of hand and there are a couple moments of pretty gnarly feedback. My favorite part is the end segment with the Fisher-Price record player arm (once I tamed that mic).
Anyways. Let me know if you hate it.
