I woke up today to find numerous posts that I do not recall making. The way it’s written sort of sounds like me but a lot of the stuff is loaded with shit that I never say.
Has this happened to anyone else on here before?

I don’t recall making them and while they kind of sound like me there’s a lot of shit that makes it obvious that they’re not me.
EDIT: Thanks to afra for the quick response and info. Deleted posts that were made with a specific IP.
EDIT 2: And after just checking, I apparently am banned from a certain forum that was mentioned under my account last night (but not by me). This is some Jason Borne shit, nigga. I didn’t even know I was actually banned from that shit until this very minute. Now I gotta wonder if the cunt who pulled the tantrums on here did the same on there and caused my getting banned.
Should I move to the Mojave and change my name, sell cacti and snakes, and drink dark liquor all day long??? Was it actually me who posted that wargarble but I just don’t remember it? If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

Perhaps. On the RUSH thread not too long ago I wrote “Rush is AIDS”, and Amlux even specifically commented on it being hilarious. Then when I went back to the same thread later on, and the same post said “Rush is terrible.”. I didn’t think much of it and didn’t really care. It ain’t my board, I don’t pay the fees, and I don’t have to manage it.
The weirdest thing that ever happened, though, was about 2 years ago. For some unknown reason, I would log in and it put me into Grumpysmurf’s account. I could literally make posts under his name, and even see all his PM’s. I opened one innocent looking PM of his just to confirm and sure enough I had complete access to everything.
I don’t believe in going through people’s stuff or messing with assuming others’ identities or anything, and fortunately Grumps and I were already friendly (it probably would have been more tempting to snoop around if it was someone that had a beef with me). I told Afra about it and it appeared it was just a fluke.
I don’t trust computers at all, and I avoid putting personal info online (even in “protected” channels) and due to some incidents like the aforementioned I try to only ever write stuff (even in private) that I am okay with stating publicly. Weird stuff.
I’ll just repost this here…
Sometimes when I post links to old posts on this forum while signed in it gives others access to my account. thankfully, it was gunnar both times that it happened, but the first time it happened it had gunnar posting as me and gave him access to all my PMs. the second time it just gave him access to my PMs. So, maybe you have posted a link somewhere that was able to give someone access.
OR, and probably most likely, you are voidhead and fucked up like you did with the baboon 3, and posted some bullshit that you meant to post but under the wrong account.

Grumpy, were you implying earlier that the weird thing with ending up logged in as you happened to someone else also, or you were only referring to when it happened to me? Anyway, it was certainly a weird incident and a bit of a wakeup call with respect to the actual “privacy” of private messages.
