Meh, Disney doesn’t own them now. the rink is closer to my house than the staples center, their fans are polite and they have the legend that really made me start liking hockey, SCOTT NIEDERMAYER. besides hockey is good no matter what, All sports fans are just rooting for laundry anyway, if they like the sport.

Did you happen to watch the Pens-Caps game on Super Bowl Sunday? It was sick, 5-4, Caps in OT, Ovechkin with the hat trick. I wish I had watched that game instead of the Super Bowl.

I thought Phoenix had a decent season last year they were certainly peaking at the right time they just had too shitty of a first half season. I knew they were gonna be good if they could continue where they left off at the end of last season. Man, Anaheim Hooked the coyotes up with Brizgolov. From what I can tell Brizzy really is the difference on that team… BTW when did they give gretzky the boot?
Yeah, I caught Penguins from the 2nd period on. it was a great game! certainly had a play off atmosphere. You don’t generally get that during regular season.

Yeah, I’m not into that, I’d rather just enjoy the game rather than spend my time wondering if the thugs are gonna jump me on my way out to the car or in line for a drink or whatever. Kings fans are mostly thuggy assholes and I don’t want to deal with that. Nothing wrong with talking shit but the Kings fans take it too far and get violent. it ruins the game, let the players fight fans should just run their mouths!

I agree… call themselves something else for gods sake! Call themselves the Splooge- Meisters or something, anything but the fucking Ducks! I mean yeah grumpysurf has a point that people do root for the laundry these days because teams are always in constant flux with trading, but I just couldn’t root for a team that I picture Emilio Estevez coaching every time I hear their name.
Are Kings fans really that bad? Blackhawk fans can get a little rowdy, but their genuinely pretty nice people.

Don’t know how familiar you are with “the raider nation”; all of those NFL assholes (Those people that invent reasons for trouble) that support the raiders cause the raiders are a bunch of tough thugs… well That’s pretty much the NHL equivalent for the Kings fans.
I never saw the mighty ducks, so I can’t relate to the despise. I was already pretty anti Disney movies by the time it came out so all it is is a hockey club to me that at one time was named after a disney movie. Team name doesn’t make the players.

the raiders? again i’m not a follower of sports, but i haven’t heard them in positive light since like the first chronic cd came out. haven’t seen anybody wear raiders gear probably since the grind got taken off of mtv and cross colors and all that went out of style
i remember in the day that the raiders and the rams both which were in the same town then…would have legendary rival games with each other there.
