I never played the game BUT I loved the Saturday morning Cartoon back in the ealry 80’s. Man that show brings back memories of 3rd and 4th grade!

My twelfth level paladin fails his “machismo” saving throw and weeps openly at the loss of a man that can only be considered the “father” to the greatest of the great.

I loved D&D as a teenager - I haven’t played regularly for a decade or so, but the game has definitely made its mark in my genetic make-up.

Woodlark, the dwarf alter-ego of my 6-year-old self, is very sad.
Also, his guest spot on Futurama was one of my favorites.

Yeah - the cartoon ( produced by Marvel ) was pretty uber-tastic.

you can by the Box Set at Best Buy for like 30 bucks! it comes with a little silver statue of a dragon or whatever(not Tiamat cause it doens’t have all those heads). But it has every single episode as well as the “last Episode” that was never storyboarded but done as a radio play at Universal studios. It’s pretty good I guess. I would’ve rather them pieced together a crude story board Cause the narrator doesn’t follow the script altogether well. Some of the Voices are the same (Acrobat and Venger I think) for the radio play. It’s a good 30 bucks I think.
