I think she’s getting the attention because she was a petite little gal who just suddenly decided she wanted to be a whale. I’m guessing that’s not super common (pure assumption on my part).
I would guess that most big ladies in this “scene” were naturally big to begin with.

The reality though is the photos of when these girls were “skinny” are from when they’re like 18 and under. MOST people are slim at 18, when they have a youthful metabolism and are forced to be involved in sports at school.
I’ll bet the “before and afters” of the average American woman would reflect the same kind of gain…just takes a lot longer because they’re not doing it intentionally.

I’ve come to learn over the years that if you can think of the most bizarre, disgusting, weird thing . . . you probably aren’t the first . . . and there is most likely already a group of freaks devoted to it on the internet. Never underestimate the power of the internet.
What’s funny is that, even in supposed “alternative” circles where people are supposedly thinking outside the mainstream, mainstream ideals of beauty are so prevalent.

And no, I’m not talking about cholesterol and blood pressure and all that crap that we can’t see and people like me don’t give a damn about. Yes, because not counting advertising that keeps reminding us of the beauty standard, people have a natural tendency to want to reproduce, men are subconsciously driven to do so by not what just appears sexy to them but what appears healthy to them. These women don’t appear healthy and therefore are unattractive. Scientifically speaking that is… my dog ate my chart. fuck you it’s scientific.

Now this I do agree with you on. As a fan of obese women, that’s one thing I never understood. Like how can you WANT to have limited mobility?!

Alright I’ll give you that. I will say that as a fan of this stuff I do draw a line too, though.
