A big eff u

So I just downloaded the new NIN album for free, works great!

Coupla Fridays ago I saw Ministry in Atlanta, had VIP tickets so we were told to wait till after the show and we would b taken care of…soooo…after the show we were told Al was “sick”. Big waste of $100.

Compare the two (or don’t!) and all I have to say is…

FUCK YOU AL!

oh wow, you mean a guy was sick so he couldnt do a meet and greet but he still went out and played an energenic show,

AND you downloaded a free album from a band that has already made millions of dollars…

WOW thoes two things can be compared SO EASILY!

you fucking idiot, they dont even relate.

NIN sucks dicks…there you go i compared the two for you.

By the way a NIN VIP ticket would set you back $500 minimum so stop crying ya big baby!!

Atlanta didn’t promise a Meet & Greet anyway. Everyone just assumed every show had it but only a few did.

Still, that sucks.

Well on the VIP thing I asked Ticketmaster, the venue and finally Afra what to expect, what to do and never got a clear answer. I understand that each one could not give a clear answer.

I cannot blame any of the aforementioned but goddamnit if ur gonna charge $100 for VIP come up with a plan that works for the fan that is expecting something for the money that was spent. I mean SOMEONE has to have an answer.

I am definitely looking for someone to blame and I can’t find it…

You can diss me all u want but I got a point u gotta admit that.

Would it piss you off if I posted my pic with al and mentioned I didn’t pay the $100 vip ticket?

Just messing with you, but the thread with the vip shows is still on the piss army. If yours didn’t have it VIP was pretty much just a complete waste. For ours they let them in about 5 minutes early, so they had center spot on the rail. Doesn’t guarantee they get to keep that spot once hell breaks loose though.

Edit:
On the heels of their final studio release “The Last Sucker,” released September 18, 2007, Ministry announces their Final World Tour, “C U LaTouR” with Special Guests Meshuggah and opening act Hemlock. Ministry kicks off The North American leg of C U LaTouR in Vancouver late March 2008 stopping in a limited engagement, 33 major market cities through mid-May, ending the US leg in Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen’s home town of Chicago. Ministry then heads off to play the principal European festivals as well as choice club dates beginning late May stretching through to July. Exclusive pre-sale tickets for the North American C U LaTouR, offered by Music Today, go on-sale Thursday, November 15th and can be purchased here. Exclusive Special Limited Access VIP tickets will be available for purchase via the pre-sale offering advance doors, seating, meet & greets and souvenir 13th Planet gift bags.

The C U LaTouR touring line-up features Ministry’s founder Al Jourgensen being joined on-stage by guitarists Tommy Victor (Prong) and Sin Quirin (Revolting Cocks), keyboardist John Bechdel (Prong, AoTW, False Icons), drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (ex-Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Alice Cooper).
Static X’s Tony Campos has recently stepped in to fulfill bass on behalf of the recently departed Ministry/Killing Joke bassist Paul Raven. Joining the Ministry clan as a Special Featured Artist will be Fear Factory/Ascension of The Watchers vocalist Burton C. Bell. Main support is Swedish experimental metal Meshuggah and opening act is the US-based Hemlock.

To coincide with C U LaTouR, Jourgensen’s indie imprint is scheduled to release Ministry & Co-Conspirators “Cover Up,” a 12-track cover release featuring artists from the 13th Planet Records family, as well as other special guests. “Cover Up” is scheduled for a simultaneous release to coincide with the launch of C U LaTouR in late March/early April 2008.

For its spectacular two-and-a-half-hour “C U LaTouR”
set, Ministry will perform tracks from “The Last Sucker” as well as songs that revisit the band’s rich and provocative 30-year musical history.
Archival Ministry videos plus other visual elements of alchemy, Christianity, politics and other topics aligned with Ministry will be incorporated into a special video presentation, produced by Wicked Lake director Zach Passero (with whom Jourgensen is collaborating on the soundtrack for the feature film) that will change night to night. And, as is expected from a Ministry show, you just never know what surprise guests will jump on stage for a song or two.

“A Ministry tour is a travelling circus,” states Jourgensen, “When we roll into town, everyone hides their daughters, but the freaks roll out the red carpet and a friend or two pops up on stage to add some spice and mayhem to the show. We never know who’s gonna walk through the dressing room door at sound check. We rehearse a bunch of ‘extra’ songs just in case so-and-so shows up…””

Yeah it said that originally, but that was before any tickets went on sale. When the pre-sale went live it said right by each city if they had the meet and greet or not. If you drop $100 on something, at least pay attention.

That’s not true. The specifics of which venues would have the meet and greet didn’t come out until almost a month later! I bought my Tix through Musictoday’s Presale and there was NO MENTION of certain venues not having the meet and greet for almost a month after! I was ready to go raise hell if there was no meet and greet in Hollywood! Luckily there was so I didn’t have to get all crazy over it but I can still feel the pain of those in that boat that got horked out of their meet and greet!

You’re wrong. I know cause I bought my tickets on the pre-sale too and I was considering buying VIP until I saw the Houston page didn’t have the meet and greet. I remember now, each page on there listed what the VIP had for that show. Some listed meet and greet, some didn’t. That’s why i ended up buying a regular ticket.

No, you’re wrong! On the first day that the presale hit there was no some restrictions may apply to the meet and greet! the only reason you think the way you do is because you probably didn’t buy the Tickets on Day one. Those Meet and greets restriction didn’t come out out until later in the presale!
Discussion over!
