A fairly small number considering how long this board has been around. The funny thing is and especially recently, only like 10 people post here on a regular basis.
This board actually seems pretty active to me. Maybe it’s the layout. Replies are usually pretty quick though.
It’s very active, it’s just active with a very small group of dedicated members.
Its not the easiest to find. Also, Ministry’s popular days are long gone. Solid though, it stood the test of time.
Ever trawl through the user list? What would it be like if there were more posts by the likes of ‘wanking willy’ or ‘hebron massacre’? I have been majorly disappointed in the decision by ‘bigshirtlessron’ to not continue posting.
Also it’s been over a year since Jizzwad spunked on prongs.
I sometimes wonder what happened to jizzwad.

For a while I was kinda thinking Afra should go through and clean house. You know, just delete any users that haven’t logged on in over 2 years. I wonder how many we would have then. There’s like two pages of people that have never logged in.

Do you think even if someone who had that kind of opinion about a band did hear them live it would sway their opinion? They are that set in their ways and are that passionate in their hatred that they close their mind to whatever band/genre experience. I used to be the same… I hate xx band so much, anyone that likes them is an idiot etc etc…
I just … I dunno, dropped the front so to speak and accepted that something doesn’t have to sound like a washing machine giving head to microwave to be good. Maybe something to do with drugs.

Really? Those are usually the folks who have repressed tendencies toward such behaviors: They know they are missing out on the pleasure of a-spot stroking and are too horrified to ask their partner for it straight up.

I asked a question because live has a richer/fuller sound than the studio versions.
True. Al and co. played some not so great songs with a level of enthusiasm that elevated the audience’s enjoyment.
That doesn’t actually excuse the lame setlist, but at least they played a lame set well.
Whether or not a band is good live is a moot point unless you can call them up and tell them you want to see them live anytime you want. 99.99% of the time the only access we have to a band is via their CD so that is how we measure the suckiness of a band. Heck, I thought Ministry was cool when I saw CULaTour live but I still think The Last Sucker sucks.
Maybe for you; however, there are poor and good quality live bootleg collectors/downloaders that post here too.
The live music has a richer, fuller sound - as does vinyl versus a studio version on cd.

that’s how i got bananed from pissarmy. I didn’t post for like a few months while i was in the hospital and came back to found i was “banned” and administation never reply to e-mails.

I’d say a few months Vs. “Never Logged In” and “last logged in 12/09/07” are a way different ballgame. Plus Afra doesn’t ban people, Unless of Course he banned the Jizz!

I think what Stairwell means is that someone so set in there ways isn’t really open to change.
We should just change this place in a facebook clone. All of us can upload pictures of ourselves drinking and wearing Ministry shirts, and write pointless details of our lives that no one cares about.

Actually they weren’t THAT bad…they played their mediocre songs quite well.
