Well I missed the Exhumed show, and I’ll get my dose at CDF if I can make it.
Add TKK on Halloween to the list. They’ll be playing the first 2 records back to back! Kinda funny, asking Frankie about this 3 years ago and he said they’d never do an entire album as part of the setlist.
skinny puppy last night in london, was pretty fucking great, much better with a guitarist (even though he was a bit low in the mix). was stood next to raymond watts for half of it, but he disappeared during warlock, the fool.
oh, and they played quite a lot of the process, jahya, death, hardset head… and candle as an encore. might have been a couple of others, too. all a bit of a blur now.
just checked the setlist and they played curcible as well.
Saw Venom Inc a few nights ago. For those who don’t know, there are now 2 Venoms. There’s the original featuring Cronos on lead vocals, and the one I saw Demolition Man on vox (he was the frontman from 1989-1994), Mantas on guitar, and Abbadon on drums. So, 2/3 of the classic lineup were there and it sounded enough like early 80’s Venom. Show featured support from Goatwhore (who nearly stole the show), Toxic Holocaust, and some shitty opener called The Convalescence.
